“ Time to use another gift certificate! Local place that has interesting plates and Tequila Fettucine is one of their signature ones. Decent crowd for Friday night. We were seated quickly. They offer a nice Chef's Menu which includes a starter, main course and Tiramisu. They offer several seafood and NY Steak options among their unique pasta dishes. We were given nice small bread loaves and a tomato and garlic spread. I ordered the Meatzilla Penne as it had favs of meatball, pepperoni and mushroom among other items. Wife ordered Lasagna which was covered with slices of cheese and a nice portion of sausage sprinkled inside. Large portions as we took leftovers on both as we wanted space to try their yummy looking Tiramisu. Glad we got it as it was the best Tiramisu I've had. It was accompanied with chocolate sauce on plate and a dollop of whipped cream. Service was fair as it got busy after we arrived. If you're in CV and need some good unique Italian plates this is a good choice just off the 805. ”

“ Not sure why this place only has 3 1/2 stars . We've been coming here for a long time, although we haven't dined in for a long while. Service was great from the time were we greeted at the door. The food is always on point. It's clean and has very nice home like ambience. Vanessa was our server and she was awesome! ”

“ I like this place location wise because it's close to the 805 (Chula Vista and Eastlake area in a shopping center.) The sauce is great and not super acidic. Flavors are balanced well, they have a kids menu and crayons. I like the seating options, and the lighting. The eggplant parmesan was soft and crunchy because parts of it are layered and baked. I love how much basil they had for us. The food was filling and I would love to come back. The service is fast. ”

“ We went to D' Lish again today. We were greeted by Lizeth as soon as we entered and we were happy that she was going to take care of us. As always, she did everything right; she got the TV turned on for my husband, took our order promptly, and brought our drinks and breadsticks/sauce quickly. My husband had the lunch spaghetti with meat sauce and an accompanying salad which was generously sized. I had the California Clubhouse sandwich and it was delicious as always. The sandwich is good sized so I was able to bring half of my meal home to be eaten for dinner. We really like D'Lish and Lizeth always enhances our visit. Until next time, D'Lish, thank you! ”

“ Tried this place again after 17 years to see if the Tequila Chicken still has the same effect on me. And yup. It tastes so delicious but it was immediate regret. Had to run to the toilet and have to now stay close to it until further notice. Does this happen to anyone else? Good thing I got it to go and did not eat in the restaurant like I used to. Bummed the delicious table bread did not come with the Marina sauce they used to provide. We also got a chicken wrap to go and that was good without any side effects. Last, the pepperoni pizza isn't great and is at a very high cost of $33. I would not order that again. It needs more sauce on it. ”

“ A group of us came into D'Lish for lunch. They have great, fast service. Everything had a great taste, including the bread that comes out first and the pasta and salad. I have nothing bad to review. I recommend the Alfredo, or the eggplant! ”

“ I was craving a kind of seafood angelhair pasta and was pleasantly surprised D'Lish is still around! I remember this place when they opened up back in the 90s! It was delicious food back then, and maintained up until now! Service was wonderful and the Chipotle Diablo with shrimp was divine. The entree was under the Homemade menu and loved that places exist that make their own pasta and bread. Speaking of bread, that sold it for me to want to come back here. While waiting for my order the server brought out fresh bread along with some marinara. Drooling thinking about that. So yummy!!! Will definitely be back with more folks to enjoy this dlish restaurant. Back to the Chipotle Diablo entree--it reminded me of this Persian owned Italian restaurant that served a spicy shrimp dish similar to this up in Hawthorne called Hanks. Sadly Hanks does not exist any longer, but so happy I found a place that makes an even better dish with homemade pasta. Thank you! Will be back soon!!! ”

“ The food was great and to top it off the service was great as well! I had the Fettuccine Alfredo Chicken pasta and I also tried the Fettuccine Garlic Alfredo pasta. I definitely recommend the garlic one over the regular. We also ordered the bruschetta and mozzarella sticks. As you can see from the picture...the mozzarella stick cheese pull was there!! When we went it was not super busy, so I'm not sure how busy it can get here. The restaurant is cozy and clean. Our waitress was attentive and would kindly joke around with us. Overall a good experience! ”
